On June 25, 2014 I filed a freedom of information act (FOIA) request with the FBI asking for all files relating to magazine publisher Wayne Green.
On August 27, 2016, I received two additional pages from the FBI which had been vetted by the CIA, which I have added to these files. An interesting bit therein: "It is certainly possible that [redacted] could have furnished Green, Jr.'s name for possible recruitment by the Soviets..."
On December 10 2014, I received a CD-ROM with a response regarding Green. They sent 42 pages of reports, handwritten notes, transcripts, and photographs.
Here is the text of my request:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act.
I request access to and copies of main files and the cross references to the individual Wayne Green, AKA Wayne Sanger Green II, born September 3, 1922. Green was an American publisher and writer: he was editor or founder of several magazines including 73, Byte, and Kilobaud Microcomputing. He was licensed by the Federal Communications Commission in the Amateur Radio Service with the callsign W2NSD. As of 2011 he lived in Hancock, New Hampshire.
Green died September 13, 2013 in Peterborough, NH. Proof of his death:

In addition, I request access to and copies of main files and the cross references to his business(es), which may be known as Wayne Green Publishing, Wayne Green and Associates, Wayne Green Books, and/or Wayne Green, Inc. The business(es) were based in Peterborough, New Hampshire.
Green was one of the major players in the formation of the electronics and computer publishing industry and is of great interest from a historical perspective. Therefore, I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at archive.org, and this request is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage. In the event that fees cannot be waived, I am willing to pay up to $50 for copies without further authorization. I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges if they will exceed that amount.
I would prefer the request be filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you for your time.
